This is an ancient Roman bronze pinky ring, but it could also be a midi ring. With an inside measurement of 11.75 mm at its widest point, this is the smallest ring we have ever restored.
According to US and Canada industry standards, this ring is a size 1/8. It was found in Ireland by some family friends when they were cutting peat on their property. They shipped the ring to us and we restored in our backyard workshop. Finely engraved, the delicate face of this ring measures 10.05 mm across. This small bronze ring is an amazing example of ancient Roman craftsmanship.
