This Wheel of the Year Ring is a stylistic calendar ring representing the thirteen moons in each solar cycle. The rounds and each intervening line indicate the passage of a lunar month. The center depression is the center of the dial, the first full moon of the year.
This ring, discovered on the banks of the Danube river in 2016, arrived in our workshop caked in river muck. After hours of careful restoration we uncovered this beautiful craftsmanship. The ring is a size 12 US.
