On the obverse of the coin, Marianne is in left profile wearing the Phrygian cap of liberty, a national emblem of France, surrounded with the lettering: “REPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE.”
On the reverse of the coin, the monetary value is surrounded with a wheat ear, an olive branch and the French motto: “LIBERTE – EGALITE – FRATERNITE” which means liberty, equality, fraternity!
The pendant is 25mm or about an inch across, on a 24″ gold-plated snake chain.
