Sacagawea pendant on a gold-filled chain. Sacagawea lived from 1788-1812. She was a Shoshone Native American, a translator and guide to the Lewis and Clark expedition, and mother to Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, born on their overland journey. Sacagawea was an early American Wonder Woman.
