Hello January! Thank you for being part of the Pendant & Ring family. We hope you enjoyed your Holiday and are as excited about 2019 as we are! In today’s newsletter we review December, answer December’s most frequently asked question, and look forward to 2019.
Looking Back
In December we continued the nascent tradition of Tuesday and Thursday conversations. We shared twenty interesting Holiday films, ten for tweens and teens, and ten for film buffs. We shared a how-to guide, a Holiday Greeting, and a reminder to take some time for you. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays we added new inventory to the store for your perusal, including earrings, rings, pendants and our first international souvenir spoon – just yesterday! Here is a selection of December posts in case you missed it. Click a photo below to see more.
You Ask, We Answer
In December we received numerous questions about shipping from our international customers, but none more than this one.
Question: How long it will it take for my packages to arrive?
Answer: Since 1918 the United States Post Office has flown the mail. In 2018 they celebrated their 100-year, Air Mail anniversary. Most months it takes between two and three weeks for packages to make the over-sea journey. We do our best to make sure your packages arrive safely and in a timely manner. You can choose expedited shipping by contacting us in the Add Message box at checkout, or through the Contact Us form on the website. We will email you an invoice with the cost of expedited shipping. and once you complete payment for faster shipping your package will be on its way!
Domestic shipping is pretty quick, barring any unforeseen circumstances. The image below shows our handling and shipping time in business days.Mail en route on Saturday is on its way, but it may spend all day Sunday at the post office, delaying your package’s arrival until Monday. If you live in Oklahoma and order an item on Monday before 5pm you can expect it in your mailbox on Wednesday. If you live in New Orleans, LA is should arrive on Thursday. If you live in Salt Lake City, UT it should arrive on Friday. If you live in Providence, RI is should arrive on Saturday. If you live in the Florida Keys, Alaska, or Hawaii it should arrive on the following Monday. Our postal carriers are hard workers. We cannot begrudge them one day off weekly!
