Vintage Baroque Style, Encrusted, Gold Flower Brooch

The Baroque period lasted from about 1600 to 1750. The highly detailed jewelry style developed during the Baroque period is still popular today. The use of rhinestones in gold settings got its start with precious and semi-precious stone encrusted gold brooches of the Baroque era. This Vintage Baroque styled brooch is a brilliant yellow gold color, five petaled flower, with stylized fleur-de-lis between each petal. This gold rendered floral design is encrusted with red, orange, green, blue, pink, and purple rhinestone accents. The rhinestones add color and just the right sparkle to this lovely brooch. This brooch would make a lovely addition to your jewelry collection!
