It was a night of goddesses: It was a night to remember. The 2020 Oscars were stunning in vibrancy and striking drama. Daring dresses in black and white and every shade of the rainbow flowed across the red carpet at the Sunday night award show. The jewels on display totaled millions of dollars as diamonds ruled the night. Here are our top six picks for best jewelry at the show. There is one clear winner, but everybody else ties for second place!
Maya Rudolph wore a vermillion Valentino caftan with cascading green emerald, and diamond teardrop, Lorraine Schwartz earrings. Do they look familiar? That’s because Beyonce wore the same earrings to Diddy’s 50th birthday party in 2019.
Salma Hayek brought her goddess vibes to the red carpet with matching Boucheron jewelry and a stunning hair accessory that accentuated the flowing Gucci dress.
Janelle Monae rocked an oracle look with Forevermark white gold and diamond choker under her dramatic and glittering hooded Ralph Lauren and Swarovski crystal dress.
Penelope Cruz was head to toe Chanel in a dress inspired by the 1995 runway collection, teardrop diamond earrings, a pair of diamond rings, and a Coco Chanel pearl strand belt that trailed down her back and into the folds of the high-low dress.
Saoirse Ronan stuck with Gucci for her dress and jewels, donning a green and diamond bee hairpin that matched her stunning earrings and statement ring in exquisite detail and playful quirk!
Making her Oscar debut, our favorite for the night, was Zazie Beetz. She wore not one, not two, but five Bulgari pieces, stacking a choker and princess length necklace, matching earrings, and two rings with Grecian architectural details in stunning emeralds and diamonds. Her dress was a two-piece Thom Brown ensemble and her clear and black-corner manicure was perfect to pull the whole look together. As far as we are concerned, Zazie Beetz won the 2020 Oscars!
