Charles and Renée are the team behind Pendant and Ring. They experience life like an adventure with peaks to climb and valleys to explore.
Charles was born with business skills. He started collecting coins with his mother’s encouragement as a child. She would bring home interesting finds from work and explore the treasure together. He started buying comic books from the local gas station to sell during lunch in junior high. During high school and college, Charles waited tables, developing a network of customers, and earning a place with local businessmen. After college, business was the natural choice. He enjoyed building and selling businesses in various fields including bricklaying, real estate, chimney sweeping, music studio management, tree trimming, mortgage brokering, and today, coins and jewelry.
Renée started collecting US Pennies with her Grandfather as a child. She found her voice in junior high through the Yearbook and continued studying news media in high school. After high school, Renée’s first marketing experience was sign painting for a local business. She left marketing on the back burner and started her journey as a homeschooling mom. When the children were old enough, Renée explored finance in conjunction with real estate and land development. She earned her degrees in English with a focus on Native American Oral Traditions and Marketing Management. In 2014, Renée turned her attention to the family businesses and developed the Pendant and Ring brand.
