This year has already produced two amazing tidbits of gem news. Most recently, Lucas Fassari found one volcanic and symmetrical Cookie Monster geode in Brazil. He posted his find on Facebook, and the world took notice.
Even Cookie Monster responded with this tweet:
Although we love Cookie Monster as much as the next guy, we were really impressed by the equally symmetrical geode discovered in Uruguay. Two miners split open a rock to discover an amethyst geode in the shape of a heart.
If this isn’t a Valentine’s Day Present from Mother Earth telling us everything is going to be okay, I don’t know what is!
